‘Ōlelo Community Media is Oʻahu’s non-profit community Public, Education, and Government access provider, it was created to empower the voice of the community. ʿŌlelo has announced the launch of their 15th Annual "Youth Xchange" Student Video Competition. This contest is an opportunity to “Empower Youth Voices” through the use of media.
Through these videos many people benefit. The audience is impacted and with this it can make them aware and prevent them from being at risk of the different topics used. Also businesses and non profits benefit from this because the topics we're making the PSA's for are sponsored, technically this is free advertising for them. It also helps spread awareness for their cause.
The three main rules of the contest are as follows: first, you must register as a primary contest entrant. Then complete the online entry form and submit your video by 11:59 p.m. HST on Wednesday, February 28, 2018. Don't forget to make sure your video is within the time rules of your category!
